Meg has all the courage of her mother with her father’s black coloring (no markings). I expect Meg to be just like her mom, a “been there, done that” pony. I go to Mya whenever I need something unusual done on my farm, whether it be removing rattlesnakes from the barnyard, herding cattle, or trying out a new piece of equipment. Meg might be destined for endurance work, as her mother took her on two impromptu long distance runs before the age of eight days. During her first winter, she had a coat like a sheep, thick and wooly, with a beautiful long mane parted evenly down the center.

Willowtrail Aaron already shows a fabulous temperament and beautiful movement. He’s been sure on his feet since we first laid eyes on him a few hours after he was born and readily accepts a halter at six days old. Aaron will be a silver dapple like his mother with a small white star and one white hoof. The question remains whether his blue eyes will darken like his mother’s.
