ALBC was established to conserve and promote endangered breeds of livestock and poultry. The Fell Pony is listed as rare by ALBC. ALBC is associated with Slow Food USA.

Dave and Millie Holderread have been raising rare breeds of ducks and geese for over four decades. They have an internationally known, prize-winning flock and are well set up to ship ducklings or adult fowl nationwide. Most of my breeding stock has come from Holderread’s.

Mickey Ramirez makes hand-felted hats exclusively from Jacob Sheep wool. Jacob Sheep are classified as rare by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.
The mission of the Fell Pony Society (FPS) is "to foster and keep pure the old breed of pony that has roamed the northern hills for centuries." The FPS was founded in 1916 and now has 1300 members worldwide with active support groups all over Britain as well as overseas. The FPS serves as the registry for all North American Fell ponies.
The Fell Pony Society of North America
The Fell Pony Society of North America (FPSNA) is the largest Fell pony organization in North America and the first overseas branch of the Fell Pony Society (UK). The mission of FPSNA is to promote and preserve the Fell Pony breed in North America in ways that are consistent with the rules and regulations of FPS (UK).
The Native Pony, formerly known as Going Native, is published in Scotland and is subtitled, "For Native Pony Enthusiasts Everywhere." TNP is a great resource for learning about the lives of Native British Ponies in their home country.
Pony Enthusiast is a new magazine for the U.S. market, subtitled "the premier publication for ponies and small horse breeds."
SFJ is dedicated to small farming and practical horse power.
