Rare Breed Status: Watch

Oberhasli Goats are a rare dairy breed from Switzerland.  The wethers are often sought as pack goats because of their equable temperaments.  At Turkey Trot Rare Breeds, proprietor Jenifer Morrissey made cheese, yogurt, and occasionally ice cream from the abundant milk produced.  There's nothing like homemade mozzarella cheese!  Goat milk paint adorned the milk house walls.
